The Capri---180 & 280 units are separate roof
mounted condenser and evaporator assemblies con-

Thesystemis connectedtoa compressor(s)drivenbythe
bus engine. The Capri --- 180 which uses R --- 12 refrigerant

Advantage Wide unitsare similarin componentconfigu-

compressor. Theprimary differencebetween themodels
is the unit width. The Advantage Wide is approximately
25incheswider(t hantheAdvantage)forspecialapplica-
tions.
Unlike the 280 models, the 180 has dualrefrigerant
systems which operate independent of each other with
Sankyo compressors.
The condenser assembly consists of two condenser
coils, four condenser fan motor assemblies, receiverand
filter --- drier.
The evaporatorassembly consistsof two evaporator
coils, moisture indicator(s) (sight glass), thermostatic
expansion valves, electrical control panel and six evapo-
rator fan motors (280 models) or four evaporator fan
motor assemblies (180 models).
Mostunitshavea24vdcrelaycontrolboard initiated
by a dash mounted switch, though some special applica-
tionsare12vdc.Theoperationoftheunitiscontrolledby
an automa tic temperature controller and sensor located
on the control panel i n the evaporator section. The
controller has a set point which is pre---set at 65 ¦ 3)F
(18)C). To maintain the pre---set temperature, the
controller willcycle thecompressor clutch (on and off)to
control the operation of the system.
Ta ble 1---2 below shows additional supprot manuals
